Description
Brutalist style brass table lamps by Luciano Frigerio. The project reflects the material and sculptural research typical of the author, in which metal becomes the protagonist through worked surfaces and expressive shapes.
Made of brass, the lamps have a workmanship that enhances the texture and three-dimensionality of the material, in line with the brutalist language of the fifties and sixties. The light interacts with the surfaces creating irregular reflections and visual depth, transforming the object into a decorative as well as functional presence.
A significant example of Italian design straddling art and furniture, these lamps combine plastic strength and craftsmanship quality, making them ideal for environments with a strong character.
Good general condition, with signs of aging compatible with age and use. Provenance: private collection.
