Catilina chairs Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena in 1957. Set of six. Presented for the first time at the XI Triennale di Milano, the Catilina chair has become one of the most iconic projects of the Milanese designer. The model perfectly expresses its approach to design: formal elegance, measured proportions and great attention to comfort and build quality.

Caccia Dominioni was particularly attached to this seat, so much so that he used it in his Milanese studio to welcome guests who sat in front of his desk to converse with him. A detail that testifies to the domestic and at the same time representative character of the project.

A classic of Italian design from the 50s, capable of combining refinement, functionality and architectural presence in space.

Good general condition, with signs of aging compatible with age and use. Provenance: private collection.
