The Gianfranco Frattini Highboard model 504, produced by Bernini in 1960, is a piece of furniture that combines the elegance of rosewood with a functional and refined design. The piece features wooden shutters that slide smoothly to cover the various internal compartments, offering a versatile and well-organized space to store objects, documents or crockery. These shutters not only discreetly hide the contents, but also help to maintain a clean and modern line, typical of Frattini’s design. Rosewood gives a warm tone to the furniture, enriching the room with its natural grain and timeless elegance.
Among the first projects that marked the partnership between Gianfranco Frattini and Bernini, the family of furniture to which the sideboards and coffee tables belong represents a perfect manifesto of his way of understanding design. Considered a true cult today, this type of furniture encompasses all the distinctive elements of his poetics: formal rigor, attention to detail and deep knowledge of materials. Gianfranco Frattini’s Highboard, made of fine Rio Jacaranda Palissandro, stands out for the richness of the flamed veins, capable of giving the furniture a feeling of warmth and sophisticated elegance.
