Description
LTE13 “Porcino” floor lamp, designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena in 1968. The metal structure and the lampshade in transparent and acid-etched glass reflect the Milanese architect’s attention to functionality, formal simplicity and the craftsmanship quality of the materials. The compact and recognizable silhouette recalls the design language of the post-war period, in which irony and geometric rigor combine to create objects with a strong aesthetic and functional character. The “Porcino” lamp is an emblematic example of Italian design of the mid-twentieth century, where technical innovation and formal elegance are perfectly integrated.
Very good overall condition, with slight patina consistent with age. Provenance: private collection.
