Shogun Mario Botta lamp for Artemide. The project is one of the most iconic examples of design of the Eighties, in which geometric rigor and formal experimentation come together in a highly recognizable object. The structure is composed of a painted metal stem, while the adjustable diffusers in painted perforated steel sheet allow you to modulate the light and create dynamic graphic effects. The play of solids and voids, light and shadow, is an integral part of the project, transforming the lamp into an architectural element capable of defining the space. An icon of postmodern design, Shogun combines function and expressive language, maintaining a strong stage presence even in contemporary interiors. Set of 2 lamps.

Good general condition, with signs of aging compatible with age and use. Provenance: private collection.
