Gianfranco Frattini coffee table for Bernini, 1960. Elegant example of Italian design from the 60s, characterized by clean lines, balanced proportions and refined woodwork.
Among the first projects that marked the partnership between Gianfranco Frattini and Bernini, the family of furniture to which the sideboards and coffee tables belong represents a perfect manifesto of his way of understanding design. Considered a true cult today, this type of furniture encompasses all the distinctive elements of his poetics: formal rigor, attention to detail and deep knowledge of materials. The wardrobe, made of fine Rio Jacaranda Palissandro, stands out for the richness of the flamed veins, capable of giving the cabinet a feeling of warmth and sophisticated elegance.
Good vintage condition, with patina and signs of use compatible with age and use. Provenance: private house.
