Wall-mounted bookcase Tyco Manfredo Massironi Nikol International

Tyco wall-mounted bookcase, designed by architect and artist Manfredo Massironi and produced by Nikol International in the seventies. The project stands out for its highly graphic and experimental language, representative of the research of Italian design of that period.

Made of red lacquered plywood, the bookcase has interlocking shaped shelves that define a modular and dynamic composition, in which function and formal expressiveness coexist in balance. The intense color emphasizes the sculptural character of the whole, making the piece an element of strong visual impact within the space.

Good general condition, with some signs of aging compatible with age and use. Provenance: private collection.
